Poor Park & Ride Service in Guildford

My wife has the misfortune to use the Guildford Park & Ride from (Artington) the scheme is funded by Surrey County Council and the services are run by Arriva. A couple of times a month the first bus on a Monday morning does not turn up. Once again this morning it has not run admittedly there has been an accident in Guildford. It is so faceless there is no representative to ask what is happening at the Park & Ride Hub. My wife has sent various emails in complaint but never gets a reply. Her employer takes a very hard line with such matters for example during last year’s heavy snowfall they made the employees take annual leave to cover the days they could not attend work even though for days on end there were severe weather warnings issued by the Met Office in place. It does not encourage people to use the buses but in this case parking is very scarce/expensive in Guildford

Has she sent an e-mail/letter to Surrey County Council? If not no doubt they'd be interested to hear about a service that they are paying for being unacceptable. You'll no doubt find that the CC will take things a lot more seriously than the operator.
