Someone jumped off the Western Road bridge onto the railway and sustained serious injuries. They’ve been taken to hospital now and the line has reopened.

Emergency services called to railway, major disruption reported.

Turns out nothing major in the grand scale of things happened as it was just a trespasser.

Scotrail now reporting minor delays.

Sounds like a mail online or express headline to me, otherwise known as clickbate...

As per my post above it was a jumper who sustained severe leg, back and head injuries and who had to be tended to by the Ambulance Service trauma team and extracted by the Fire Service.

Thanks for replies, hopefully the person involved will be returned to health in every sense of the word and thanks to the professionalism of the emergency services and railway staff concerned.
