Does anyone know how I could present an idea to Apple??
Just produce it thyself and place it on the open market...Apple will be
guarenteed to steal and copy it within 6-12 months of release... :roll::mad:

Best thing to do if you have an idea is not tell anyone about it so it doesnt get stolen.
The worst thing about that is the cost of
protecting one's invention. I've got an invention of my own that could prove very lucrative in several ways, but I just had a look at
The Patents Office website to read-up on the patenting process, and even the basic costs are far too unreasonable for an individual looking to profit from their creativity...

I found a couple of patent solicitors via Google Adwords advertising that offered all-in packages for patent applications, but they were each around the £2000,- mark, with VAT and IPO fees extra...

hock::roll::mad:
Now I
know that I have a full legal
right to protect my intellectual property at no unreasonable cost to myself...So why are the IPO charges such that only organisations could reasonably afford to pay them?

You can buy the SSD's (Solid State Drive) in capapcities up to 128gb, but they are very expensive (see
here), when they come down in price you will see MP3 players using SSDs instead of conventional hard drives.
Ye know, I've been thinking that Flash-based HDDs would be a great invention for
ages now, as they'd be crash-proof and a lot more reliable...It's just such a shame that OCZ are being greedy ********* in retailing their product as high as that, when each unit can't have cost more than £10,- to manufacture... :roll::mad:
Maybe I should go and arrange a rather vicious form of bulk discount with them?...

hock::grin:
