What is The Woodhead Line and AFRPG?
Well the Woodhead Line, has to my knowledge gone, it being a key transpennine route between Manchester and Sheffield until the very early 80s. There is a preservation group who are "seeking to establish a working museum at Hadfield Coal Sidings": https://www.facebook.com/pg/thewoodheadline/about/?ref=page_internal (their website doesn't work)

As for AFRPG, "Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Group". They operate out of Scunthorpe Steel Works

Thanks Gaz, Spot on. Our long term aim is reopening as far as Torside.
