On Thursday morning...
https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/f...ighland-line-disrupted-by-stuck-canal-bridge/
I was one of the customers affected on the 1010 Mallaig-Glasgow.
Have to say it was all pretty well organised (a regular occurrence?). 2 buses soon arrived at Corpach to collect us and we were off to Fort Bill by 1215.
Arriving at FTW, the 0819 Glasgow-Mallaig (2x156) had arrived and customers were waiting for the buses.
We boarded and left at 1235, 55 min down. Got to Crianlarich and the Oban portion was waiting. Arrived into Glasgow QS LL at 1610 so only lost 35 min in the end.
Good effort all round in the circumstances. Driver really "put his foot down" climbing to Corrour
