Problem renewing railcard online

I've had problems attempting to renew a railcard which expires soon.

On logging into my account I select my current railcard.

When I get to the renewal screen I am able to choose duration and card type but the field 'Who is this for?' is greyed out and pressing 'Continue' gives an unintelligible error message - attached.

Any suggestions?

I thought that might be the reason but as it's 29 days till expiry it should work or at least give a sensible error message. I'll try again in a day or so.
If it still doesn't work, other retailers (including Trainsplit, who provide the forum's ticketing site) can sell Railcards online, though it would be treated as a new issue and start immediately.

I've been having trouble, too. The site won't recognise my user name and password and I don't get a password reset email when I request one.

After numerous attempts on different days/devices, all of which produced the same error message, I contacted the Railcard team via the web page, received an email the next day suggesting renewing over the phone, which I did in less than 5 minutes. No explanation of why the problem may have occurred.
