All you need to know is in the online course. The questions are quite simple.

Hi Biscuit

Normally with PTS which depending on your area could mean DC element as well as AC. If you require both endorsements (AC/DC) then normally you would go through either e-learning for written but ideally with some TOCS a practical to demonstrate using a short circuiting bar.

I understand Network Rail offer their staff an elearning/assessment online but who is doing your PTS course as this might help others advise you better?

Ok Biscuit,

There is alot of resources around including a network rail PTS handbook which you can check out. Alternatively you can check out a PTS e-learning course online which is FREE at http://www.uktrainingsolutions.com

However i think this is geared up for train drivers doing PTS but most of it still applies for the basics, plus they have the PTS handbook as a course resource which you can download.

Hope this helps
