Just curious really!
I was waiting at Queens Park on Tuesday 9th December around 9am and there was a developing signal failure at Waterloo
When I arrived it seemed like a tube from the north had just terminated there as the platform was packed. Then a tube went through platform 2 southbound ECS
A packed tube then arrived and departed so decided to await the next empty from the shed
In the meantime another train arrived in service from the north but terminated into platform 1 and then set off southbound
Then another train appeared on Platform 2 but carried on ECS (lots of frustrated commuters by this point!)
Finally boarded another packed train that came through in service from the north

- Where were the ECS moves heading southbound actually going?
- I guess their disruption plan is to thin / split the service at Queens Park?
- Is platform 1 a usual move for a tube train - usually only see Overground there
