Unfortunately no one knows other than the examiners, it’s one of these you want correct answers over the amount you answer and get wrong if you are what I mean

There may not be an actual pass mark - they use your score to rank you against other applicants.

It is, and all answers are within the passage you have to read.

But getting answering 12 answers and they're all correct is better than answering 24 and getting 5 wrong
This is partially incorrect.
It is a multiple choice answer test as you are stating but the RAAT test you won't get penalised for wrong answers, you have to try to answer as many as you can, obviously doing your best as you'll get positive score for correct answers only.
In your example you are better 24/5 as you will have 19 answers correct against only 12 in the other scenario.

My answer was hypothetical, what I was pointing was that getting every question correct is better than rushing and getting questions wrong whether they don't go against you or not.

If you have applied for a trainee driver's job in the UK I would be rather more concerned about your commute time to work than your RAAT score, going by your location.
