ive recently joined the railway industry. Liking it so far.
What are the best newspaper, magazine or websites (other than Railforums obviously!) to keep up to date with what’s happening on the industry?

Railstaff and Railnews are the usual ones that are sent out free to staffed locations on the network. Whether or not you think they are any good is a different matter.
