Railway stations you think need a refurbishment

Edge Hill.

They have installed new shelters (of the bus variety) and new Northern ticket machines; but it just looks so dull and disused, especially the approach ramp from the main road.

Well, the whole area around the station is very neglected (basically a dump!), so they could put up new signs and shiny lights, but it would still look like a bomb has gone off!

Southend Central's canopies could do with a repainting and the glass cleaned.

ATW refurbished the ticket office about ten years ago to improve the workspace for the staff, but passengers entering and exiting platform 3 through the ticket office are still funnelled through a single door, and either one or two ticket barriers depending on which way they have been set to open. They could easily have extended the ticket office to improve passenger circulation.
