Rangers/Rovers in Scotland.

Hello, i am going to Glasgow Central or Edinburgh for the day soon and i was wondering if there is any ranger/rover tickets available for them areas that last one one day?

Glasgow has the Daytripper and Roundabout tickets (which have different areas of validity): http://www.spt.co.uk/travelcards/day-tickets/

Edinburgh has 'One Ticket' http://www.one-ticket.co.uk/evoke/ticket/pricelist

There's also the 'Central Scotland Rover' but this is a 3-in-7 ticket, not a day ticket.

Glasgow yes, Edinburgh yes too (Telstarbox is more uptodate as well as fractionally quicker!)

That Edinburgh One Ticket seems to be overcomplicated but from what I can tell there doesn't seem to be a one day version that includes rail travel, which I think is what the OP wanted.

It appears not. Roundabout seems to be a product valid only on National Rail and SPT Subway (Glasgow's Underground).

Roundabout tickets are valid after 9.00am Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and Glasgow public holidays. Tickets can be purchased from any staffed First ScotRail station, from on-train ticket staff or from any SPT Travel Centre, and are valid for rail travel within the white shaded are of the map

There are SPT Travel Centres in Glasgow city centre (2), East Kilbride, Greenock and Hamilton. At Glasgow Airport, the International Arrivals area has a SPT Travel Point but it appears that this just "displays a range of local timetables and public transport information".
