They've knocked down the old victorian building that was once a mechanics garage. I think some people were opposed to that stating that it should have been listed and hence protected.

Have they knocked down all of the old trainshed too? My understanding was that it would be preserved and used as some kind of shopping area (much like Windsor & Eton Central).

There was talk of that being moved to Minehead as some sort of interchange with the mainline (Was that as Bishops Lydiard?). Shame that wont happen now.

The original Brunel-designed Wycombe Railway terminus is going to be retained and restored. It is simply the later additions to the building that have been demolished.
