A relation had planned on coming to Manchester today on 09:54 XC service from Truro-Birmingham New Street then changing there onto 15:57 Birmingham New St-Manchester Piccadilly service, now she was booked to travel on the above services and had tickets but because of today's events she was unable to trave today and is planning on travelling tomorrow, she's also booked to go back Saturday but is hoping to stop until Monday so what actually are her options?

Cross Country are saying that tickets will be valid tomorrow does that mean she can catch any train North of Redruth tomorrow or will she still have to use the time she was originally booked to travel?

Also how will she go about going back next Monday instead of Saturday?

However if she's using Advance tickets the existing booking will likely stand for the return journey on Saturday. If she wants to return on Monday instead she should ask Cross Country if they'll permit her to change it.

CrossCountry tickets dated Friday 18 February, Saturday 19 February, Sunday 20 February and Monday 21 February may be used on may be used on Monday 21 February and Tuesday 22 February 2022. You do not need to change or amend your ticket – simply show your original ticket to Train Crew and Station Staff when required.

If she wants to return on Monday instead she should ask Cross Country if they'll permit her to change it.

In any event, there would be no charge for changing the ticket other than any price difference.
