Which stations have been removed as request stops since December 2022?

The likes of Claverdon and Bearley have conflicting information on whether they are still request stops (for WMR) and there seems to have been changes on TFW routes and the Cumbrian Coast as well?

Claverdon and Bearley are request stops for WMR but not for Chiltern.

The ones along the North Warwickshire line (Danzey, Wood End, The Lakes, Wootton Wawen) are no longer request stops as of last May.

On the Cumbrian Coast it's now only Nethertown and Braystones that are request stops.

For TFW Conwy, Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan no longer request stops. No idea about other routes.

I don’t think this is true any longer, both Claverdon and Bearley are no longer shown as request stops in the current timetable for the WMR services.

Copplestone on the Tarka Line to Barnstaple was made a mandatory stop in 2022, though Newton St Cyres, Yeoford, Morchard Road, Lapford, Kings Nympton, Portsmouth Arms, Umberleigh and Chapelton on the same line remain as request stops.

It may have been before 2022 but Perranwell used to be a request stop not that long ago but is now a mandatory stop

I believe that all of the Greater Anglia request stops in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk and Suffolk very recently became request stops when the Stadler Flirt trains were introduced.

Think it was more to do with Covid rather than the Flirts at the request stops on GA disappearing.

Ah maybe that was why. But i always thought it was because the Stadler Flirt trains are basically DOO (but with a guaranteed second person) meaning that the process of the Guard informing the Driver of passengers wishing to alight was more difficult. But i am not entirely sure.

Request stopping on GA regional routes was halted during the pandemic as conductors were not passing through the train saloons. It worked so well thanks to the superior braking/acceleration of the 755 fleet that it became permanent. Although drivers operate the doors most of the time on these services, they never operate without a conductor.

Claverdon and Bearley are most certainly request stops for WMR trains in the current December 23 to May 24 timetable in the diagrams has a R between the hours and mins to denote request stop.

It does cause confusion and a number of us have driven past people waiting to board as they have not indicated their intention. The confusion is that Chiltern do stop as the don't have request stops and being a single line people are often waiting for the next train going the other way and at Bearley that can be only a few mins away so we are used to people on the platforms who don't want to travel in our direction.

They may be shown as request stops in the diagram but in the WMT public timetable online (No 9) there’s no symbol or letter denoting request stops and the WMT trains are just shown as normal stops. So how are the public to know?

More importantly what does the signage on the station say?

I just checked and the eNRT table 072 has no letter besides the two stops for LM services. They don't even bother to define what a 'x' means. Also the working timetable(CG03) shows a T between hours and minutes, not R, for Stratford to Worchester services.

Even Haddiscoe became a request stop in the 2000s for several timetables before becoming a booked stop again. Briefly in the latter days of the legacy fleet, Greater Anglia made Brundall Gardens & Salhouse request stops during leaf fall season. Many drivers like myself usually came to an agreement with the guard that we’d ignore it & stop anyway.

Which (remaining) request stop on the GB network is the one with the highest annual passenger usage statistics?

Lympstone Commando had 83k passengers in the 22/23 (assuming it's still a request stop?), I'm not sure if any other request stops saw anything near that amount.
