Request to change address for penalty fare ticket

Hey. Can i change the address for panelty fare ticket. Because i gave the address for panelty fare and now i want to move in another house and remember i didn't receive ticket on my old address.
Any suggestions

Have you received a penalty fare, which would have been given to you at the time, or are you waiting for them to write to you? If so, mail redirection will get the letter to you at your new address. I’m assuming so because you should have all you need if it was a Penalty Fare.

Have you paid the penalty fare, or are you appealing it? If you have paid then that's the end of the matter. If you are appealing the penalty fare then you can give the new address to the appeal organisation. If it's a Ticket Irregularity Report then it's not a penalty fare.

@Any2w. Welcome to the forum. What were the circumstances of you being stopped? On the train? At a ticket barrier? No ticket held? Noting where you are based, presume you're dealing with Northern or TransPennine Express. Did you get issued with any paperwork at the time you were stopped/reported?

I didn't have rail card when i travel. The train was nothern and travel time 15-17 minutes. At the last moments the ticket checker write my name date of birth and address but after two days i will move on new location and I will not receive panelty ticket in old address. So i want to change the address for panelty ticket on my new address.

It’s not a penalty fare, they will write to you asking for your explanation and if you come back to this forum when they do, we can help you write to them. You can get an out of court settlement if you pay them for their time and for unpaid fares when you said you had a railcard. Use post redirection to ensure that their letter gets sent to your new address. See my post above.
