Rishton to Berwick Permitted Routes

I have an off peak return from Rishton to Berwick, travelling out via York but wold a permitted route on the return via Carlisle be allowed.

Via Carlisle and Preston would be allowed on an "Any Permitted" ticket.

The £94.10 offpeak return from Rishton to Berwick-upon-Tweed is valid via Carlisle and Hexham according to the journey planners (but not via Carlisle and Edinburgh). And I assume you meant Berwick-upon-Tweed rather than Berwick (which is in Sussex).

Yes Bewick upon tweed. I also assume I can start sort at Hexham on the return.,
