Rishton to Fratton Permitted Routes

Is a Rishton to Fratton off peak return routed via London valid for the following on the return journey
Fratton to Waterloo tube to Euston
Euston Manchester
then Victoria to Blackburn either via Todmorden or Bolton

Via Bolton yes, but not on the service via Rochdale and Todmorden. The only route I can see approaching Rishton from the East is to go to London St Pancras and travel via Sheffield, Penistone/Leeds and Halifax.

However, I think we can be practical about the price of the ticket, the attitude of the Northern guard on the train via the Todmorden curve and the likelihood that they will have consulted a Routeing Guide should you decide you would like to go that way!
