I've been at several stations in years gone by before the days of the BRUTE where the mail barrows were pulled by small diesel tugs. Despite a search on Google, I can't find any information or photos of them. From memory, they had larger wheels and tyres at the rear, a Scammell type bonnet and a two finger towing hook so they could also be used with a standard 'tee' handle on the barrows. As I remember, they were road registered and had road registration plates. Does anyone have any info on them or know the whereabouts of any still in existence? Thanks in advance.
