Safety inspection between Howden and Gilberdyke

I'm stuck on a Eastbound train just outside Selby, ostensibly to Hull, pending Network Rail conducting a safety inspection of the Eastbound line, which is currently blocked with multiple trains waiting.
Does anybody know what has happened, please?

A member of train crew reported what they thought was a track fault, meaning the job was stopped while PWAY investigated.
