I've been practising using the group bourdon download. My problem is that I can go very quick when searching for the single shape on the first stage with zero errors. But when you get to stage 2 & 3 where you have to search for two shapes and the alternating shape this naturally slows you down. But because I can go fast on the first stage this creates a greater fluctuation in the final score. So my question is, would it be better for me to slow down so that my test paper looks like I'm working at a steady pace throughout, or go fast then steady as the assesors would expect to see variables as the test becomes more challenging?

Sorry if I'm overthinking it, I just want maximise my chances of passing.

Hi mate, I've really no idea which way is best, I've only just sat the SCAAT Test for ATW for a conductor role and passed, I went as quickly as I possibly could whilst maintaining accuracy to try and ensure that I didn't make any mistakes. ATW haven't provided me with my test score but have invited me to the next stage, which is a telephone interview. I'd say give it your best shot and go as quickly as you can on all parts without any errors:D
