Hi there,

I am currently going through my application for a trainee train driver with ScotRail. I am trying to take a complete career change (leaving the offshore oil and gas industry) and just looking for any tips/advice to do or not to do during application process

Without wishing to appear unhelpful, your best bet is to spend a few hours trawling through threads on here and use the search facility.

Every possible question and advice has been rehashed many, many times over.

I'd say accuracy, concentration, safety/emergencies and customer service are among the top things to focus on.
