This might seem a silly question, but on Citylink is it normal for it to be cheaper to travel from a station further away? The journey in question is Coatdyke to Buchanan Bus Station (return) is more expensive than Airdrie to Buchanan bus station (return) which is one stop further away on the 902.

Although the timetables are not yet available for the mid May changes, the booking system is open for them now. The M9 is basically half hourly all week now between Aberdeen and Glasgow but the M92 from Aberdeen to Edinburgh is still only half hourly Friday to Sunday, with Thursdays now getting just the hourly service.

With 4 day contractors possibly moving to full time on the network - we may see some more variations of coach in Citylink livery!
McLean Yutong GT12 E16MCL has received base Citylink livery and awaits vinals. https://flic.kr/p/2r2AYEQ

8 new Irizar i6s Efficient coaches are being introduced on the Citylink Air service, along with an increase in frequency:

The Scottish Citylink AIR service between Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport is being upgraded with eight new Irizar i6S Efficient integral coaches that will be operated by West Coast Motors.
They represent an investment of £2.5 million and come as the frequency of the route lifts to up to every 20 minutes, a 50% improvement from the previous 30-minute headway.
Each of the new coaches is a tri-axle 53-seater with amenities including drop-down tables and USB charging points. A lift as part of PSVAR compliance is mounted above the drive wheels. To maximise the fuel-saving nature of the i6S Efficient model, a camera monitoring system has been specified in place of rear-view mirrors.

Is there no longer an option for a front wheelchair ramp? Because I remember before the Plaxton Panorama's came along a batch of Irizar I6's that WCM operated had quite a wide front entrace.

For the peak summer period, 17th May onwards, the 919 Inverness - Fort William service has two services to/from Oban. 07:30 & 13:30 Oban to Inverness, 12:10 & 18:10 return with 30 - 45 min breaks in Fort William which allow connections for Skye.

Given these aren't showing until the 17th I assume they are additional to the current 918 services provided by West Coast Motors, Traveline Scotland is still showing the current 918's, anyone able to confirm?
To confirm the above Inverness - Oban services are now up and running so there are four Oban - Fort William services Mon - Sat and two on Sundays, the through services are quoted as 918919 on Citylink website. It appears these can only be tracked on the Citylink site and the two "historical" 918 services on the West Coast Motors website only although all four services are on their 918 timetable.

Another late change I found is an additional Fort William - Edinburgh 912 service, 0830 FW - 1230 Edinburgh and 1630 Edinburgh - 2030 FW, it serves Edinburgh Airport.

Has there been a minor route change in Dundee? I’ve noticed this week both Edinburgh and Glasgow bound services are running via Caird Hall/Whitehall Crescent (not sure where it follows from that point)

With Ember and these additional Citylink services, the provision between Fort William and Tyndrum is now excellent!

Hello I've got a stupid question about the 10-journey pass on the 900 (£47).

Is it only available if I get on/off at Edinburgh bus station and Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station? I travel between Edinburgh Maybury and Glasgow - can I buy that ticket? I searched for it on the site and it didn't allow me to buy it when I choose these two locations (it says no multi pass available). Thanks!

Many thanks! I just find it strange that on its website I searched multi journey for Glasgow Buchanan Bus station to Maybury and it shows no results. Could only find it when I searched Glasgow Buchanan to Edinburgh Bus Station. Hope it's not some changes to their ticket. Their open return ticket fare has increased so much....

Also just on the 17:15 bus which departed at 17:30 and all full...

Parks of Hamilton Volvo KSK 948 was in place just off Princes St in Edinburgh this morning for a publicity event.

It featured 40 years branding and was open to the public.

For anyone to keep up with Citylink operators. ECL (Edinburgh Coach Lines) have departed the network. Leaving was a mutual agreement on both parties to allow ECL to focus on their own coaching side, and due to short staff.

Yeah. It used to be 13.5 or 14.5. Now it's 17.7....
So will have to rely on the 10 journey tickets. Not sure what other cheaper ways available.

Regarding ECL’s departure from the Citylink network, I’m unsure who’s doing their M92 runs but the 913 now seems to be in the hands of Bay Travel

Yes, seen Citylink branded Bay Travel Neo Plan arriving into Edinburgh on the 913.
