Scottish Sleeper Service Formations in the era before the BR MK1's

Hi, can anyone provide any information or direct me to any sources on what carriages were used to provide the Scottish Sleeper services under BR, before the MK1 Sleeper Carriages were introduced please? Any data on exact formations would be excellent. I'm interested in any of these services but information on the Fort William sleeper would be particularly welcomed
