I've only recently noticed, despite living in the locale, that SD Travel run a fairly regular service from Bathgate via Linlithgow to Livingston and v.v..

Like many bus operators there is a paucity of fare information to be found on line.

Does anyone know if they offer a day ticket, and if so how much does it cost?

Traveline Scotland only shows the One Ticket West Lothian day for £6.95, no SD Travel fares shown at all.

It's a council service so you could contact West Lothian council, to get full details? Before SD travel took over it was E&M horseburgh, ( lets not forget the passengers rejoiced when there were kicked off the contracts this point was highlighted on this forum and local papers at the time) it used to be service 431 and 432.

First or McGill's from Livingston used to run the Sunday journeys, I think that was at the time SD did the Monday to Saturday journeys. I can't remember if the Sunday service was before, during, or after the transition from First to McGill's.

All of the above. The Sunday contract was acquired with the First business, but I think it was one of the casualties of the council cutbacks when it was due for re-tender in autumn 2023.
