Would it be advisory to make seat reservations for the following services:

EMT 10:26 Stockport - Liverpool South Parkway (Monday)
EMT 20:03 Liverpool South Parkway - Stockport (Friday)

Definitely to the Friday one, yes.

Would have thought more the other way round. Not always known th 19.52 Liverpool-Nottingham to be that busy from Lime St, whereas the 05.50 ex-Norwich can be very busy anyday but especcially with passengers travelling after the weekend. If you just stand in the doorway from Stockport to Piccadilly you will have first choice of the seats when the many who leave here get off.

1913, 1922, 1952 and into 2000 are usually crammed leaving Lime St. I use the 1934/2004 equivalent services usually every week, and these are likewise heaving.
