Good afternoon,
I am preparing for an interview with Network Rail, for the role of Section Administrator. I would be very grateful if someone can help me out with some tips.
I am trying to get back on the work ladder, after caring for my mother for a year.
When the vacancy was advertised, the following was displayed, only:
Essential Criteria
Experience of clerical support and office management
Highly organised, and an excellent manager of your own time
Good knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office
Confident working on your own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of operational railway environment
I am coming from a non-railway background. What is knowledge of operational railway environment? I meet the essential criteria, but not the desirable.
Does anybody have any tips on the interview?
