I have just heard that the semaphores at Whitland in West Wales have just been replaced by colour light signals. Not sure how true this is but sad to see them go. There is/was a great bracket signal coming of the Pembroke Dock branch which has been leaning slightly to the left for many years but unfortunately I don't have any digital photos of it. As I say I am not sure how true my information is but if so have the other semaphores also gone at Burry Port, Ferryside etc? anyone in the know?

Correct, I don't recall the dates now but they are going in favor of multi aspect single lens LED signals.

There's a notice about it in work.
