The area to the east of the railway line through (or rather to one side of) Cambridge is known as Romsey Town, although this is not the same Romsey as the one in Hampshire, which is a different one.
Huddersfield has a large number of central area streets whose names consist of "________gate". A more well-known example of this, primarily courtesy of the railway, is Wakefield, also in West Yorkshire, and also with two such continuous sections of road named Westgate and Kirkgate.
[Huddersfield is interesting - "Castlegate" is the name given to part of the central ring road, but, as far as I know, Huddersfield never had a castle. The nearest is the Iron Age Fort at Castle Hill, just over 3 miles away!]
Llantrisant also has a church (the parish church dedicated to the three Celtic saints...St. Illtyd, St. Gwynno and St. Dyfodws) with Norman architectural features.
