Was on my first trip to the SVR yesterday 23/6/2018 and suddenly remembered the Jonathan Meades documentary Severn Heaven (Abroad in Britain 1990) about the Plotlands near Bewdley. Northwood Halt (Request) seems to be the location and indeed I saw a few dwellings that fitted the bill. Can a local please answer the following questions: (1) Are the Plotlands alive and kicking, (2) Should I alight at Northwood Halt and walk up the track to see them and (3) are the residents happy with curious visitors?! Given the warm welcome I received from many, many locals travelling on the SVR yesterday I'd guess the answer to 3 is a resounding yes!
