Given the doughnutting, I doubt that will make much difference.
Possibly not, still trying to ascertain what the exact situation might have been, albeit this doesn't seem to be the easiest of threads in that particular regard. :s

If @mgut feels unable to share more info or answer here particular questions about what happened - I would suggest as I did up thread that they send a generic apology and request to see if the train company will offer an out of court settlement rather than court action and hope for the best / take it from there.
