Signal boxes and grades

Hey

Is there a way to find a list of signal boxes (preferably wessex) and the grade they are....and the system they use for signalling? Had a quick Google but thought this would be easier?

All work TCB (Track Circuit Block) but Marchwood could be the exception as it involves single lines.

The best way, although very slow and long would be to watch the external vacancy list for Wessex locations and note them as they come up.

I'd suggest grade 3 would be the lowest for Wessex, upto grade 9 for Wimbledon desks.
The majority being around the grade 5-9 range is expect.

The easiest way of finding a list of boxes is to check the local PON. Each edition includes a list of all Kent/Sussex/Wessex boxes, including contact details.

No grade or equipment info, but much of that can be gleaned via Google (or locals on here).

Have added some of the grades that I've seen, no promises they are bang up to date as they can (and do) change with box re-grades.

(The ones with question marks are the ones I'm less sure on, and I've only ever seen Basingstoke advertised as a whole so the different panels could be graded separately).
