a 13:42 to Sutton has been delayed :shock: :shock: :shock:
yup, that's right and that's made a Hasting & Littlehampton train go to platform 15 :shock:
well, the usual 14:03 is always late
{needs to start taking Silverlink}
i go up to Olympia to see if refurb-D-stock is up there,d'oh!!! :x
nope, a scrappy coloured d-stock appeared,,,,
well i got to Earl's Court and i changed for a C-stock to Edgeware Road
"This is a District Line train to Edgeware Road"
well, up to Paddington i go, late 25 minutes,
i've missed the hammersmith @ city line for barking :x
but luck came, i've saw my best friend from school {he was bored}
i told him that i'm going to harrow via euston
well in came a Olympic 2012 train!! <D
and up to Euston Square where i got off and up to Euston!!!
when i got to Euston, i started to swear a bit as i missed the 15:14 to Preston
well i went to see a voyager and pendolino

Have the slow lines been upgraded to 100mph already? I knew it was planned, if so that was quick.

So I presume 100mph is only allowed with EPS?
well i mean the top speed of the 321 is 100mph so the line must be 125mph approx.....!! :shock: :P

But you said that 100mph is only allowed for pendolinos, so therefore 100mph could only possibly be allowed under EPS (enhanced permissable speeds).

The Silverlink train you referred to running at 100mph was on the slow lines, I am not sure if the slow lines are yet upgraded to 100mph. (If not, 90).

100mph trains are generally banned from the fast lines now (with a few exceptions against the peak flow).

I thought only Pendos went to Euston?
On Virgin that is generally the case. But there are some occasional No, every day you'll see 90s, 313s, 321s, 390s, 221s (and soon 350s) at Euston.

It's not like the good old days of as little as 3 years ago, 87s, 86s, HSTs, etc :cry:

No I know other stocks are there - I meant in response to this from 1288:
"when i got to Euston, i started to swear a bit as i missed the 15:14 to Preston
well i went to see a voyager and pendolino"

If you're referring to Virgin services, 'Super' Voyagers do operate to Holyhead. Also there are a few loco-hauled workings, if you're REALLY lucky, mostly to Wolverhampton/Birmingham.

350s are deifnatley working into Euston as I saw a pair twice on Friday before a charter. Also, class 90s work the sleepers in and out if you want a bit of variety.
