I've just been to Scotland and heard from 2 guards at Kirkcaldy that the 2 loco haulded sets on the Fife circular are to be retained as part of an agreement by the government does anyone know about this? They also told me that non-refurbished HST sets with slam doors will enter service from this December to cover for rolling stock shortfalls.
