Unless this was an April fool with some very good photoshopping techniques, apparently a BB36000 or ASTRIDE has been hired from SNCF to SNCB Mobility to haul M4 carriages for a week on IC-D services between Lille Flandres and Liège-Guillemins whilst the series 04 (AM96) EMUs are retrofitted with the TBL 1+ signaling system. Other IC-D services are also apparently operated by HLE 27 locos which are not equipped to operate on 25kv AC and subsequently northern France and therefore terminate at the border at Tournai.

Very wary of the news because it was posted on April 1st and it also has POISSON in the title!

Would be nice if it can be confirmed as reality because finally the ASTRIDE will be hauling trains they was intended - international passenger services. Remember that they was designed to haul the Nightstar sleepers... Less said about that the better!
