Southern 455 Diagram Request

Does anyone have access to the diagrams for the Southern 455s which they could post on here by any chance?

Well indeed, but are there any diagrams they are planned to work or are they just completely random on the day with no consistency at all?

Certainly these days all the London Bridge - Caterham via Norbury stoppers tend to be 455s. On Saturdays all the London Bridge - Coulsdon Town stoppers via Sydenham are also typically 455s. Everything else is a bit of a lottery really.

I tend to see the Victoria - West Croydon - Sutton - Epsom Downs corridor as consistently 455. Though again, 377’s are still frequent on those. Beckenham Junction is also a pretty good place to find them. The only routes I’d say that are fairly solidly 377 are routes via Mitcham Junction to Victoria and the Cats/Tats splitters. Anything else can be 455.

I have extracted all the following info from the CWN.

There are 46 units for 42 diagrams with 4 maintenance units.
They work as follows (SX)

VIC to EPD
509/510 They spilt at VIC and 509 works 1400 to EPD as a 4 car attaching back to 510 on return to VIC at 1611. 510 goes to Stewarts Lane Depot for a couple of hours.

516/515

LBG to BKJ
508/507

LBG to CAT

533/534 Spare at Streatham Hill Shed

Units out in Peaks only:

539/540 only works one trip: - 2F06 0639 SRH to LBG then goes the Stewarts Lane Depot

521/522 2B06 0616 VIC to SUO 2B13 0711 SUO to VIC then onto Stewarts Lane Depot then works 5T52 1708 to LBG
541/542 2F03 0628 LBG to VIC then onto Selhurst Depot until 1522 5B86 to VIC

Interesting that inter-working seems to have been eliminated: in the 80s, judging from CWNs, it used to be much more commonplace (as it minimised platform occupancy and optimised turnaround time at Victoria) and on the Waterloo suburbans I believe inter-working still happens.

to my knowledge no 455s are regularly scheduled to go to Dorking anymore, judging by a look at the scheduled diagrams.

Single 5-car 377 advertised for the next one of those Tulse Hill services from Purley, not 455s.

The slow lines are shut through East Croydon and South Croydon today and tomorrow.

Single 455 (think 455817) seen working 0602 London Victoria to Epsom Downs so at least one is out.

2B03 0610 Selhurst to London Victoria is 455812.

Victoria- Epsom Downs/Sutton/west Croydon via Crystal Palace are pretty much solid 455
Tulsa Hill - Caterham via Crystal Palace are majorly 455’s
