Southern on the Wimbledon Loop

Good morning, I know Southern run a few services around this loop as I often use the 18:08 from London Bridge to South Merton, but I was wondering what happens to this service when it reaches Wimbledon? Looking at the departure screens at South Merton, it becomes apparant that the service doesn't work back to London Bridge, and it enters Wimbledon at the wrong end to use the Northern half on Platform 10. So does anyone know? I guess some form of ECS but not a clue! Thanks!

thats quiet impossible to do. if the train goes via south merton to wimbledon, then the only platform it can use is the thru platform (pl9), afaik all service continue around back to vic or london bridge.

Sorry, didn't make myself clear, the service runs to Wimbledon via Sutton and South Merton, arriving from the south. I alight at South Merton, and when I do this, on the screens showing forthcoming departures for the next few hours there is nothing to suggest a return working, so I guess it must run to London Bridge without turning round.

I assume it continues around the Wimbledon Loop Via Tooting then to Streatham and from there to London Bridge.

The Fab is quite correct. Southern do a *think* three or two services are used. Used to be so when I worked around the loop stations in peak a cpouple of years ago. Even get one 8x 377 running around daily.

AM peak they run London Bridge - Wimbledon then onwards to London Bridge via Sutton.

PM peak they do London Bridge - Sutton - Wimbledon - London Bridge.
