I will be travelling tomorrow from Manchester Pic (MAN) to Audley End (AUD).
The recommended journey on the National Rail site gives
MAN dep 10.35 arrive Leeds 11.35. (1P21)
Leeds dep 1145 arrive Peterborough 13.07 (1A28)
Peterborough dep 13.19 arrive Audley End 14.24 (1L36)
I have bought advance tickets for each stage of the journey. The tickets were bought on 5th of May.
All this week train 1P21 has been arriving on average 10mins late at Leeds.

Can someone give me the reference for the current regulations regarding onward travel when splitting the journey by buying separate tickets for each stage of the journey.

Thanks in advance

Since your itinerary respects the minimum change times for both of your changes, the fact that you have split tickets has no effect on your right to take later trains if you are delayed by previous trains. It may be that some members of rail staff refute that this rule exists, and you would be entitled to a full refund of any additional amounts you are demanded to pay in order to exercise this right.

I might print off the itinerary from the national rail site - perhaps useful to be able to show that you have done your homework correctly.
