On a train...somewhere!
It appears to be shaping up as a decent event. Looks like I'll be spending at least part of the day babysitting the GC power car, so feel free to drop by and say hi!

The Fifty Fund have posted on Facebook that 50035 will be leaving the Severn Valley at 10.27 on Saturday as part of a GBRf move that will also convey D182, D213 and 5580.

According to realtime trains something is detached from the rear of 1C99 tonight at Bristol. Which then forms 0Z91 0303 Bristol TM - SPM. I'm thinking its 57604.

Was it??!! It was bucketing it down when I was there!! Lol
I thought they did a fantastic job and put a lot of effort into it, but why was there no class 52 present and no Cross County HST power car to complete the line up? I'm not moaning in the slightest, as I thought it was great, even though I was only there 40 minutes as the weather was terrible.
I hope everyone enjoyed their day.

Why would XC want to partake ? They are not interested in things like that and begrudge spending the pennies. Good job other TOCs are not of the same mind.

Rather enjoyed that today, left before the rain came though. Hard to take a decent photo with so many people around but it's understandable.

A little disappointed that there wasn't more to buy though, I would've bought anything with an HST on it!

Did you find the 125 Group sales stand? Plenty of HST stuff on sale there!

No. Where was it? There was the entrance marquee and food vans down the bottom but I didn't see anything else. I now feel I've missed out :(
