Yes, they're still on the same Willowholme site.
Thankfully this time the flood strategy was put in place and the depot was emptied of vehicles by around 2130 on Saturday night. Some have been taken to Penrith outstation while the majority are simply lined up on higher ground in the city centre.
The water this time is much higher than 2005 (think I heard somewhere 2+m higher), and it will be days before Willowholme can be accessed, let alone used.
Kendal depot has also been badly affected; the depot came within inches of being flooded out (never happened before) and yesterday only 2 routes (555 and 599) were able to run, and even then on a much cut down route. Tomorrow looks to be even worse - although waters have receeded, all bar 1 of the bridges in Kendal have been closed for structural checks, effectively stranding the vehicles in the depot.
Despite the lack of news coverage, Lancaster has definitely been the worst hit area behind Carlisle; there's no mains power to 55,000 homes though around 11,000 are being fed by generators. The two bridges over the Lune - Skerton and Greyhound - are closed for structural examination, meaning no buses can actually get into Lancaster. Not that it really matters as the bus station is still under 6" of water, down from a peak of 4 feet. Thankfully the river has now dropped and it's just a case of pumping out low lying areas.
