I wonder whether any Volvo BZLs will enter service at Middleton or at any garages adopted by Metroline on January 5th.
Several BZLs are being inspected at WN depot by Metroline staff on a night shift (when Wigans own staff have finished) and I know several are being stored by Tyrers that are being charged at BN before being sent to the airport, so there should be some in service by the change over.

Are Oldham expecting any BZLs only a driver friend of mine recently in the past week sent me a picture of one parked at Oldham Depot? Am I right in thinking that it might have just been there for storage?

And yet there’s still a ton of B9s out today and a load of Queens MMCs not out…
It’s how they come in the night before and are parked. Buses are only routed from certain bays on a Sunday so if they are full of B9’s it’s then that go out.
From what I heard yesterday the majority of breakdowns were the MMC’s in limp mode!

I am trying to keep a record of where the cascaded buses are going. Can someone please share a list of them. Thank you

A lot of cascades have been happening this week. A large number of deckers we're heading south last night on the M6, and a handful of MMCs we're heading northwards around the M60 this afternoon.

19001 is back for eventual preservation.
Aye, but not before one last stint in service back “home”.

More MMCs should arrive at Queens Road this week - hopefully allowing a few more B9s to be stopped (if they themselves don’t break on arrival).

8 MMC’s are expected at Queens overnight from Oldham depending on staff, thus allowing for around 5 B9’s to be withdrawn meaning 20 scania’s and 15 B9’s are withdrawn and replaced with MMC’s before Christmas.

Not to sure if it's due to a shortage to vehicles at Oldham (can't see how) but E400 19482 is currently out in service on 182 Shaw-Manchester service

All three E400’s at Oldham (19481/82/83) are out in service on Oldham routes today.
Possibly due to a large number of MMC’s transferring to Queens Road overnight and issues with the chargers at Oldham.
They are Oldham buses though and despite the school bus sticker on the front there’s no reason why they can’t be used in regular service.

Has 19001 arrived at Queens Road yet - due to be arriving today?
Thought it was running out of Hyde Road??

There's been a post on the Stagecoach South West FB group of it hooked up to a truck for the run north today, presume the same truck took 19398 down.....
Yeah that would make sense - most likely going to enter its short stint in Manchester service on Friday alongside 19288
