Considering the livery it's in it would be a shame if 10429 had to go for repaint before entering service at Queens Road, can't there be a special dispensation with it being a poppy bus? I mean it's managed to carry this same livery for the past couple of years without it being a problem so don't see why it should be a problem now.

I can understand if it was in a livery for something else but surely with it being a poppy bus it should be left alone, surely if Metrolink 3022 can be left in the livery it's in 10429 should be treated the same.
Stagecoach asked about buses wearing poppies on the run up to rememberance Sunday - as the commercial fleet did, and were told no.

It's a bus with poppies on it, showing Stagecoach's support for the Armed Services Covenant.

And realistically it's carried that livery without it being a problem because Stagecoach could do what they wanted with their buses.

In fairness there’s nothing stopping them putting yellow stickers on it like GNW did with that charity livery streetdeck - not exactly tasteful though and I guess stagecoach are aware of that.

In 2023 GNW fitted poppies to the fronts of buses at the request of TfGM and they organised the producing of the vinyls via McKennas. Last year it was mentioned but nothing came of it.

Diamond had a full wrap for pride on a StreetDeck, to match the tram done in the same way, so they aren't adverse to that sort of thing...

As I’ve said, several drivers asked why buses were not wearing poppies last November, management promised to chase it up as commercial stagecoach vehicles all had them on and TFGM said no!
Infact several of the ex First E300’s still had poppies on from the previous years and TFGM requested they were removed.

Im assuming it’s down to cost rather than an issue with poppies etc, as any cost of fitting and removing would have to be met by TFGM.

Hi Folks.
Sorry to ask such a basic question. Sure it has been done to death in the Forum, Just struggling to find it.
Am i correct in thinking that stagecoach still retains Stockport, Oldham and Queens Road depots but handed over all the others?
Do they still run out of Wigan, or has that gone too?
If so, what happened to the early batch of E400mmcs (10401 onward). Have they gome from stagecoach?
Advice would be appreciated

The earlier numbers of that batch are at Little Hulton for schools work and 10421/2/9 are at Queens Road, I think some others may be at Stockport too
