displays have been updated again. scrolling on front displays has been removed, and the font has been turned back to normal.
on flip dots, "50 Moorclose Circular" has been squashed onto the side display. there is no "50 Moorclose" changing to "50 Circular".
scrolling on rear displays has been removed as well! (K768 DAO and K777 DAO will be happy about that!!!)

new megarider adverts have been appearing as well. 22607 has Whitehaven Day Rider advert on it, and 22600 has North West Megarider Gold on it. (its a bloody North West Goldrider!!!)

42025 is to replace 42565 and become the regular bus on the 58 Cockermouth - Maryport service, LL with then have no manual buses left in service.

down to Seaton 47 i believe! increasing minibus PVR by 1. 42565 would have just went with no replacement if it wasn't for Seaton needing 2 buses due to diversionary route.

16329 in Carlisle depot, along with a 79/179 branded E300.
all the usual Oly's in big shed.
42091, 42670, 47474, 20945, 47156 and 14245 in dead lanes.
a Merseyside B10M being prep'd for paint.
16441, 16351 and a solo being painted.
16870 was sat next to workshops, very shiny! hasn't had a retrim though.

2 breakdowns on 300, on its first day of Volvo Oly operation after floods! one was at Wigton. CE's 20924 done a run out to Wigton from Carlisle Bus Station, where passengers then transferred onto the Volvo Oly. passengers on the Volvo Oly heading to Carlisle, were brought to CE on 20924.

17023 back on the road last night running a late 2a.

17023 not been out of the garage for two weeks it's awaiting it's LED blind and it has a wheel missing,16666 came back yesterday from carlisle after a partial repaint with 47156 going the other way for repaint and for good and wigleys came today for ex-merseyside Magic-bus liveried 20731(K731 DAO).

Its amazing where MANs turn up now, when I was a driver there were certain routes they were 'banned' from such as the 7, 10 and a conventional sized bus on the 49 was unheard of if it was a Norfolk Street journey. The 7 round Shakespeare Road could be tight in a B10 Id hate to take a MAN round there!! I think the traffic calming measures still sees them banned from the 10 Ridge circle though its been a few years since I was on the Ridge.

Must have been my eyes going!!! I thought I saw it speed past me but obviously something else!

I also saw 22813 on 7

17018 was replaced at the bus station by 16662 after it developed a fault. 16662 was still on at about 7.40.

Saw the rear end of 16666 at the bus station this evening. Interesting how its had a partial repaint when it only got a whole one a few months ago! Still needs its back blind panelling over and an LED!

This morning:

14199 on D1. Has anything actually been withdrawn from KL since the NC Olys arrived?

No, 42025 (Automatic) is coming into the fleet to replace 42565 (Manual), and will be used on the 58, which is not a low floor service, it has nothing to do with increased PVR or the 47. There is no point having just one manual vehicle in the fleet.

it would have been withdrawn with 42534 and 42566, but with minibus PVR increasing, it was kept on until a replacement found, in the form of 42025. if PVR on 47 hadn't incerased, it would have gone with no replacement, through the decrease in PVR on 22, and cancellation of 30A, as has been discussed a few times on here.

20994 is now back at LL

rather obvious with it being on 300 yesterday with Lillyhall drivers on it with any luck, we see the back of 765 now!

20901 still has Stagecoach in Merseyside on the sides of it, but has Cumberland Motor Services legal lettering. its CCTV has been removed, with blanking plates put in place.

scrolling on LED displays for Moorclose Circulars have been removed. it now has "Moorclose Circular" all on one line, with a smaller route number to the right.
