As this got anything to do with the recent talks about the possible sale of Fleetwood operations to another operator ?
Probably more to do with 84 being cut back to operate Fleetwood - Poulton only earlier this year, and the low passenger numbers not requiring the size of the Versa's. The Versa's can then replace older, similar size vehicles on the main Preston services (the 4 MAN's in this case), which see's Preston losing 12/13 year old MAN's rather than 5 year old Solo's after 113 moved over to Chorley.

16645 into service at Carlisle today on the 62 replaced at Kendal by Tridents.
Lillyhall have been using Tridents on the 300 each day this week too.
Still only the 4 MANs in service.

What are Chorley going to do with the MANs? Stick them on the 113? The route could do with extra capacity.
The ex 113 Solos at Preston (47490/91/92) have all been debranded though none have yet had a repaint so their all looking a little scruffy. 47486 & 87 have both returned to Preston from Chorley.

Your guess is good as mine, why replace low-floors with low-floors, why not get rid of the step entrance buses instead, a bit backward if you ask me.
They`ll be bringing back the titans and VRs next.

The exchange of Versas and Solos between Fleetwood and Preston has taken place. Don't yet know which Solos have been sent to Fleetwood.

One of Battersby's Streetlites is out and about on the 18. Still in plain white with no company branding etc. Look very nice indeed.

Only 22160 left to enter service at Carlisle out of the 7.
20904 is the latest B10M withdrawl and 20959 seems to have followed.
34680 here for repaint along with 18139.
The ME Versa is just about finished.

76 branded 34714 ended up on loan to Lillyhall on the 554/X5 today/yesterday. Not quite sure how or why but it was something to do with 22160 braking down on the 600 yesterday and 35248 is also involved as that replaced 34714 at Carlisle this morning.
67/68 34710 has lost its Green branding and only retains the branding next to the led, the rest are too follow.
52629 has been the regular on the LL 300 this week after 3 weeks of 20456 doing it.
Loads of withdrawls at Carlisle including Solos, Olympians and B10Ms.
Reays had 3 new MCVs out today.

Just an observation.. For about the last 2 weeks the 06:50, 11:15, 15:15 and 19:15(all on same board) X5 from Workington are always operated with B10Ms rather than the profiles with 20918 popping up more than any other. I wondered if there was any reason or if there were problems with one or some of the profiles..?
52628 and 53336 have both been off recently, not sure if either of them are back in service yet.
Since 20473 died and was withdrawn, I think 20918 is the next best B10M on fleet.

52628 and 52365 have been used for CPC at Carlisle. 53336 was off for a month but left Carlisle last week so should be back in service.
