there has been talk of a Dart going to Carlisle from Merseyside, to operate the short 685. it has just been a case of "is it actually going to happen or is it just rumour?" none of the 4 mini Darts Carlisle have are properly wheelchair accessible, but they do have the wheelchair space and kneel. 34048 also has the holes on the edge of the step for a ramp to slot into, but I haven't managed to see a ramp on it! (usually in a box in luggage space, but it isn't there).
20945 has replaced 16652 on Moorclose 50. 16652 is now on 30 and 31, with 16651, 17017, 35247 and 35249.
47617 on Harrington.
47616 on 1.
35248 on 2.
47007 on 3.
47060 (i think) on 4.
34616 and 35246 on 31A. (so yes, Whitehaven's town services are fully low floor, whilst Workington have 3 step entrances on. surprise surprise :roll
20994 on 22.
47059 on short 300's. it was rear ended at approx 1635 heading out of Whitehaven, but sustained very very little damage! (if any at all actually! I couldn't see a bump or a mark on it) unlike the car that went into it
think it was all 4 Scania's on 300.
obviously, with 34218 being on Moorclose 50, I had to go for a ride! as expected, it rides a bit like a Marshall, but, it picked up speed rather well, wasn't overly bouncy, and most unsurprisingly for an old Dart, its gearbox didn't a*se around either! unlike the Marshalls, it could actually make its mind up whether or not it was time for a gear change (33168 especially used to change its mind a few times! "better change up now! actually, I want to stay in 2nd, on second thought, i'd better go up into 3rd, actually, i'll lose power, so 2nd, no, i want 3rd!").
34218's Bright Tech LED display has been replaced with a Hanover one, however its Bright Tech control unit is still in place
