Only two Solos in Workington this morning out of a possible five, 20994 and 20913 on Moorclose, with 34218 on Harrington and Seaton..... not seen this for a while.... where have they all gone?

Dead  Well, they are Solo's.......
47023 did appear later on in the afternoon, replaced 20913 on 51.

35248 started the day on short 302's. Replaced by 16447, which was itself replaced by 22611.
22611 was on either 30 or 31 this morning, requiring the hose pipe treatment yet again.

Seems some Lillyhall drivers are starting to get very relaxed while at work. One was stood outside the bus station smoking, not bothered that he was due out, and hadn't even took the Profile off the annexe for the 0915 X5-X50 (not today, Wed 6th July). It was 0914 by the time on my phone (around 1 minute slower than GMT) before he walked to the annexe to get on it. Can't just be Stagecoach running to a different time, as almost all other drivers manage to get out on time.
Even had a driver with his left foot up near dashboard while on town services!!! Bit of a stupid thing to do when the bus being driven was CCTV fitted.

No, that can't be right.
Olympians have side facing seats (front downstairs)
Both E400s and ALX400s have side facing tip-up seats (downstairs behind the stairs) and rear facing (top and bottom rear)

So I can't see how that justifies E400s not being used. I reckon the only reason for ALX400s going in is because of age - you don't put newish vehicles on schools!

By ek! 47617 has had a full repaint! was done rather discretly that one - nothing noted about it being up at Carlisle.... its been slowly tarted up over the past few weeks, surely not a Lillyhall job! it done the afternoon short 302's

47062 rather noisely and sluggishly on the 1 in Whitehaven..... ouchy!

Had an East Lancs Esteem work a single round trip on the 150 last night. First time this type of bus has worked the route. It was unable to show the route on its display and was instead showing "Stagecoach in Preston" on front and rear.

Could well be a Carlisle job as there were 2 Solos in the paintshop on Tuesday.

I should hope not! I would also hope that step entrance stuff doesn't go straying out either over the holidays....

I think I may have discovered a new hobby this afternoon, sitting at my window watching and listening to all the Leylands on schools slogging up Milnthorpe hill

20960 on the 69 today, first time I have seen a big bus on there this year at least. Replace a late 34220 and then 34220 went back on. I could not get a photo as the driver decided to ommit part of the route on the way back to Devonshire Street.

17012 & 18326 in the paint shop.

I'm told 16351 has vanished from the yard at Carlisle. It's either went or is being treated to a repaint.

16331 on the 300 in Carlisle tonight, 18.10 slot.
34214 was on the 74 so has been in Keswick on 73s.

Replaced 15683, which was 40 minutes late back into Workington.
16733 done a Workington - Whitehaven - Workington covering for a late Scania too.
20994 done a short stint on 300-302's as well.

20902, 20910, 35246 and 35247 on 30 and 31, with 8 of the 11 MAN's.
22596 on 300-302's, probably one on 31A's as well, has been quite a bit recently.
20913 on X4-X50.

Think they are just doing them here and there. 18325 was done a while ago along with a few 55 plates.

No idea about the Ex Manc MANs not much been said about them!

Involved in a RTA, which involved it having new panels on the front, so obviously decided to paint the whole lot!

How on earth do they manage to allocate a B10M onto a core service on a Sunday? They have 4 B7s and 1 Jonk and then theres all the Enviros which could have went on and they decide to put that? Out of this world...

Could have had 1 of the other 2 Scania's on as well.

16184 on extra X5's today.
20918 was on X4, was pulled off, smelling very oily. Still sat in the bus station an hour later at the stand. I couldn't wait around to see what happened to it, but it looked as though a spare driver had the engine access hatch opened up inside the bus. 20902 replaced it, having been replaced on 31 by a MAN E300.

The B7's and Enviros were all having the Greenroad ecodriver system fitted to them on Sunday

35246 was short 302's when I was around this morning, and 35249 on Moorclose 51.
20923 and 20473 at least on X4/X5-X50.
53339 drove through town centre with Private Hire on front and side displays, 000 on rear ("Hire" fits on the rear).
