They're for all DD routes from Stonegravels. X17 won't have dedicated vehicles any more.I wonder if these are for the X17... ...you think?

Any idea if the issues have been fixed, or if they are just storing there until a fix is worked out?Stonegravels have taken delivery of x3 ADL Enviro400EVs this morning. Seen in image attached
The yellow coaches and 2 ex megabus coaches are used for rail replacementsAny idea if the issues have been fixed, or if they are just storing there until a fix is worked out?
Also, are the yellow coaches used for anything?
I have seen one of the yellow coaches on the 560.The yellow coaches and 2 ex megabus coaches are used for rail replacements
36180 has moved from chesterfield to rawmarsh, 36723 has also returned back to rawmarsh after repaint. 36990 has now left yorkshire and moved to barrow in Cumbria.
Yeah on occasions there has been times where a yellow has been used to cover tripsI have seen one of the yellow coaches on the 560.
It absolutely isbut why do the direction indicators have to make a loud beeping sound which is audible throughout the whole bus? Surely that must be irritating for the driver, who has to sit in the cab listening to it all day.
Most likely yes, likewise once the e400ev's enter service they will displace double deckers leaving I believe one diesel decker as a spare but could be wrong, if anyone can confirm/deny this it would be appreciatedAre these vehicles displaced by the Yutongs?
As far as I'm aware, the only diesel deckers staying will be open toppers. Remains to be seen howeverI believe one diesel decker as a spare but could be wrong, if anyone can confirm/deny this it would be appreciated
Correct. The Rawmarsh examples were spec'd by SYMCA, whereas the Chesterfield ones didn't have any input from Derbyshire County Council in that way. From a picture I've seen, these Yutongs at Chesterfield have typical Stagecoach interiors.
Those at Rawmarsh have a moquette on their seats.
I'm yet to ride one on that route, but I've been told they're quick up Slack Hill! How's the electric single deckers been on the x17 short evening runs as I have notice the hourly evening trips uses them
I'd be interested to see how they cope if they need to call at the stop part-way up. Their massive torque should mean climbing from a running start won't be an issue, but the lack of a gearbox might mean starting on a slope won't be as sprightly.I'm yet to ride one on that route, but I've been told they're quick up Slack Hill!
That's already been factored in, the buses are changed out during the day via interworking with other services. Presumably this allows them to get back to the depot after a shorter duty than would otherwise be the case. This is also another reason why the Gold branding is going, as buses can no longer be dedicated to the route. How will they cope on the. Full route Barnsley to wirksworth as Barnsley interchange needs charging points so they can charge them up

Got to give it to the planners, the interworking of the various routes must have taken quite a lot of work to get right. Just hope the estimated range pans out once in service.
Without having been on a Chesterfield one yet, the pure grey seats there do make the ones at Rawmarsh seem nicer.Correct. The Rawmarsh examples were spec'd by SYMCA, whereas the Chesterfield ones didn't have any input from Derbyshire County Council in that way.
It's a shame really. The Rawmarsh Yutongs are far superior in spec.
80171Stagecoach new ADL400EV YX25OAP was running around Matlock today. Stopped in the bus station for a while.
Presume driver training. No fleet number on the vehicle yet. Anybody know what it is likely to be?
Apparently the brakes failed on it. So much for brand new vehiclesStagecoach new ADL400EV YX25OAP was running around Matlock today. Stopped in the bus station for a while.

There's teething issues, and there's critical failure. These are brand new, they should not be having this issue. All new vehicles have teething issues, exactly why they’re being tested and familiarised before entering mainstream service.
I've been wondering the same. The fact it was a big success and that they've added more open tops to the fleet in Chesterfield would suggest it is, and will possibly be expanded again, but I can't find anything definite yet.Does anybody know if the Peak Sightseer is coming back for summer 2025?
