I was trying to use Roman numerals, as stated in the clue, to see if I could solve this...but to no effect yet. I understand the code prefix of "Z" as the first of three letters, but "X" is unknown to me in the normal station 3-letter codes.
I was having a wild stab in the dark in the hope of hitting something so no surprises in being wrong. I suspect this may have my attention for some time now.
It is actually the code for Liverpool Central (Deep Level) i.e. Wirral Line platform. LVC is the Northern Line (Low Level) platforms (and the station as a whole).
A similar code exists for Moorfields (XMR), although this strangely refers to the Low Level, and MRF the Deep Level and the station as a whole.
Saxmundham is the only station that I know beginning with S and having an X in its name....but I have a feeling it will be something different, so I will not set a clue for the next station.
Hang on! hang on! 150222 put St Pancras International and it got rejected, if it happens that that is correct, then we should be restarting from OXT, which is Oxted
