All railway stations in Great Britain have three letter alpha codes. They can be listed on timetables, departure boards, station information services and used on the online journey planners.
Therefore, the objective of this quiz is to guess the stations code.
The rules are as follows......The code must be from a National Rail station in Great Britain. The code has to be the proper station one as listed by National Rail Enquiries. You can't just make it up as you go along.
This is not the first time that I have had to make a posting of rules explanation and once should be enough when it is the same contestant.
There is currently
NO National Rail station that has a 3-letter station code of
ZBB
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
You must surely know that the Docklands Light Railway station of Deptford Bridge is NOT a National Rail station. It may well carry a code of ZDB, but this immaterial to this game.
I have a whole database of the Manchester Metrolink tramway system stations that too all have a 3-letter station code, but all of these would be invalid for use on this quiz.
Therefore, for the second time, I declare your posting to be invalid. Since you have had two attempts to set a new code and have been wrong both times, you must now stand aside.
To enable the quiz to continue, I will set a code beginning with Z that does conform to the rules of this quiz....
