It's a type of lamp used across many industries, so unless it has some marking on it no reason to think it would be railway.

They were also used for street lamps. Some even had a mirrored surface on the lamp base. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen pictures of lamps this type used on platforms too. I certainly wouldn’t rule it out!

One make was Revo and the mirrored inside was known as a Revo Magnalux, we had these on Stainforth & Hatfield Station approach road.
